Rick's practice focuses primarily in commercial litigation, devoting approximately 50% of his practice to a wide variety of cases. He has spent a substantial amount of time to construction and lien law matters. He regularly handles condominium litigation involving associations, foreclosure proceedings and timeshare matters. He handles contested divorce proceedings as well. He has been active in both mediation and arbitration. His active real estate practice involves counseling purchasers and sellers on all aspects of real property law, taxes, submerged land leases, insurance and title matters concerning commercial, residential and vacation property. He is an approved attorney and agent for Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund, Inc., and First American Title Insurance Company. He served as City Attorney for the Town of Cinco Bayou, Florida from 1974-1984.
